Hoken Pass is a self-service SaaS platform that lets EU manufacturers, importers and brands create, manage and publish compliant Digital Product Passports (DPPs) — the EU's new mandatory product transparency document introduced by the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR, EU 2024/1781).
In about two minutes, a company turns its product data into a verified public passport: choose one of five category templates, fill in the fields, and publish. Hoken Pass handles the rest — blockchain notarization for tamper-evident records, QR codes and GS1 Digital Link for on-product access, granular privacy so suppliers only see what they should, and EU-registry-ready exports in JSON and XML.
The platform is live today, freemium from €0/month, and built on a complete mapping of the DPP market across all 27 EU member states. It is ready for the first mandatory deadlines: battery passports from February 2027 and the first ESPR product groups (textiles, steel, aluminium, furniture, tyres) from 2027.
Hoken Pass is an end-to-end DPP platform. A company selects one of five category templates (Fashion, Automotive, Battery, Food, Electronics), fills in its product data, and publishes a public passport page — typically in about two minutes. The platform provides:
- Template-driven builder — ESPR-ready data fields per category, no blank canvas.
- Customizable public page — on-brand colors and logo, shareable link.
- Granular privacy — section-level visibility so suppliers, distributors and regulators each see only what they should.
- Blockchain notarization — tamper-evident, verifiable record of each passport version.
- QR code + GS1 Digital Link — consumers scan the product and land on the passport.
- EU registry export — JSON/XML files ready for the EU DPP registry.
- Team & security — role-based access, team management and email-based security groups.
Business Client. Our customers are companies that place goods on the EU market and therefore must comply: manufacturers, importers, brand owners and retailers. Priority verticals are the first regulated groups — batteries, textiles/fashion, furniture, consumer electronics and food. Primary buyer is the SME segment (1–250 employees, roughly 3 to 1,000 passports a year), with self-serve onboarding and plans from €0 to €1,000/month. Enterprise and white-label versions serve larger brands, GS1 partners and consultancies.
